Kitebi Primary School which has been in news for alleged ghost attacks yesterday had a final blow for the term as the ghosts reportedly attacked pupils both at the school and those at home.
Pupils who were allegedly attacked from their homes were brought back to the as the ghosts reportedly demanded to be taken where they had come from. The residence of Naomi, the ex-wife of the Headmaster of the school, was axed down in her absence by one of the annoyed pupils at the school.
The witch doctors together with the pupils who had been attacked demanded that her house be opened so contain the ghost attacks. Small drums with other bottles were removed from the house.
Naomi confessed that she was responsible for the ghost attacks and declared that the ghosts had overpowered her. She was told to take the “illizi” (beads around the waste) to the police station as a sign that she had abandoned the ghosts.
Following these events, the Education Ministry closed the school and pupils were sent back home. It was total drama at the school as witch doctors and born again Christians competed at exorcising the demons. School authorities said Shs. 2m is need for the school to be cleansed and added that some animals will be sacrificed in the rituals.
